VINIFICATION
Plot selection of old vines. Hand-picked grapes are sorted in the vineyard and cellar. Cold pre-fermentation maceration. Manual punching down. Native yeast, long vatting period of 8 weeks. Matured in 400L barrels, 30% of new oak barrel (18 months), 50% in one-wine barrels and 20% in stainless steel tanks. Aged in bottle from 10 to 18 months. Organic Cuvée.
TASTING NOTES
Attractive cherry-red color with ruby highlights. Complex, elegant nose with aromas of red and black fruits. A hint of undergrowth and the spiciness of barrel wood. Rich and complex, the palate reveals structure, balance and a long finish with notes of blackcurrant and morello cherry.
